This was one of my first ever weddings I photographed - I didn't realise I hadn't put a blog up on this until now.

I wasn't even meant to photograph this wedding so you will see that there are lots of gaps in the day but I loved the location and was fun working with Abbie & Peta who were doing the video and Anouska's Sister Saskia Swain who was the actual photographer for the day. I actually came on this trip just to drive Abbie & Peta from Auckland to the Hawks Bay but was quickly handed a camera to help out for the day. I had never used a Canon camera up to this point so was a fun learning a new system from my Nikon days but I guess this planted the seed of my eventual shift to the Canon system that I have now.

Enjoy the images!

I'm a small town New Zealand boy who grew up on a farm with a Dad who showed me life through a lens. He had a Pentax Film Camera that captured my eye and I've loved photography ever since.
